Labyrinth Gift Box

An engaging puzzle gift box featuring an internal labyrinth maze that challenges the recipient to navigate through only one correct path to reach and open the contents—making the unwrapping experience as memorable as the gift itself. The design is derived from Sneakypoo's Thingiverse creation (thing:201097, CC-BY-NC-SA licensed).

Design Goals

The goal is to make gift-giving more entertaining by requiring puzzle-solving skills to access the contents. The single correct path is designed to be easy to miss, creating extended engagement—hopefully extending unwrap time beyond the usual 5 seconds.

Build Success

Testing confirmed the design works: the box was the first gift received during a Christmas gift exchange but one of the last to be opened, successfully achieving the goal of extended engagement and entertainment value.
